3.6.11

Alright guys. I hate to end this so soon.

This is fake. Yeah, I know most of you already knew that but here's the truth. I wrote the first two entries because I got bored on /x/ one night and it actually got popular and I wasn't expecting it. At all. If I had planned it prior it'd probably have turned into something awesome but without really having a plan or knowing where it was going to go, I really just started mucking things up. The last post was a poor, juvenile mistake, and I'm not going to try backing out of it now.

But hey, I hope it entertained some people and I'm glad it got the feedback it did. I'm probably going to change this blog into something for my future works, since I do plan on making more based on the feedback this got. I do have a few projects lined up that I'm sure would interest you, and I also plan on writing creepy pasta for all of your enjoyment. Thank you, everyone, for expressing interest. Any pointers for the future are very appreciated.

Also, I actually am having problems with the Camera, and I actually had a friend cut into my back for the "All-mine" thing. If I get a chance I'll actually put the pictures up.

  1. I applaud you for having the guts to bow out gracefully. I was losing hope in the veracity of your story, and while I am slightly disappointed by the truth, I am not at all surprised. At least, since this is far from the first time I've had to look for evidence of a spiritual world elsewhere after discovering a work of fiction, I'll get over it rather quickly.

This was a very engrossing experience marred only by a few rookie mistakes (too many implausible excuses for a lack of evidence being the brightest of the red lights, but that is by far the hardest roadblock to work around convincingly, especially on the fly) and your original thread was easily the best thing I've seen on /x/ in months. I am confident that your next ventures will prove even more entertaining. Hone this talent of yours well, and you'll have us on the edges of our seats at all times.

(Having a friend carve into back is true commitment, perhaps even too much commitment! That was nonetheless a hallmark of devotion that few would ever exhibit, and could have been served well by decent photographs! Blurry captures will make anyone think that you're trying to hide badly photoshopped editing, even if you actually do have genuine word carving to show off!)

  2. Thank you for reading, and thank you very much for the compliments. I was honestly hoping this would turn out better, but there are some things that are simply implausible to improvise completely.

Still, I hope to bring some originality back to /x/, and the internet as a whole. I'll keep working, keep getting better. Stick around, this was only the beginning of the plans I have.

  3. NOOOOOOOOO, we all knew it was fake but you shouldn't have stopped! I admit the dude with the envelope was a bit corny but you could have done better than that. You put so much work into it... :(

  4. Thanks for the memories Chris

  5. Ah, Chris. I am saddened by your lack of commitment. I was hoping you would at least bang the hot lady psychic before ending the story. Still, it was a really awesome story, and well done, and a great way to introduce yourself into the interwebz.

    Great job!

Also, please, please, pleeeeeaaaase do not make a slenderman blog. There are too many. Marblehornets is fabulous, TribeTwelve is pretty good, Everymanhybrid is okay, and all the others just suck. There's too many.

Don't waste your talents! Make a skeleton blog instead. Skeletons are scary.

  6. Ah I wish you would have kept going with it, it was a fun story to read.

  7. Well, if I did anything with slenderman it wouldn't be a blog. It would likely be a series of videos...and I want to do one because I've seen the other series and I don't feel like they do Slenderman right. They're all to similar and, well, a bit bland. I can do something great, I'm sure of it.

Thank you for reading, all of you.
I promise some great things to you. Fantastic things, horrifying and unsettling things. :D

  8. Well...keep me posted on your slenderness. I have a team getting ready to build a slendy suit this summer, but we're probably going to use it only for jokes.

The web series thing is dangerously played out.

But your confidence is refreshing. Godspeed, sir!

  10. Well, it was brilliant while it lasted, and it was a very elegant move to finally concede that it was fake after your blunder.
I quite enjoyed it, and I'm a little sad that I won't be seeing anymore pasta!

  11. I knew it was fake when you posted the pictures. The tell tale? You weren't a fat black man. I was imagining you as a heavy set thirty-so year old African-American male. Interesting enough read though. Enough for me to bookmark it and return. I normally don't watch shit like that, so ho-hum. Whatever it's worth. I'll keep you bookmarked though, entertained by your content.

  12. Pssssssh. Yeah, sometimes I wish I was a fat black man myself.

Nah, I'm working on some new creepypasta now, just a few short ones. I'm also working on something like this (It won't involve slenderman. That's something else entirely.)

  13. Good job Chris!
This was actually really entertaining and made me keep coming back to read more, like the other guy said, i even bookmarked it. Yeah, it was dissapointing that it was fake but of course it was of no surprise. I like the commitment, which would've shown great work and progression if of course it progressed.
If you plan on making a slenderman video i'd wonder if you'd like to communicate because me and a few friends are going to start a series, but obviously not as bland as marblehornets. Bad word choice though, it's going to be more original i should say. So if you'd like to talk about what key components that a slenderman video should have then id love to talk about.
Also, im going start writing creepypasta to , so any tips?

  14. Thanks!

Um, I'm still working on whether or not the slenderman thing is even going to happen, but I'd love to communicate with you. As for creepypasta, This was my first go at it...but if I had any advice I'd say keep it unpredictable. A nice spin on creepypasta really keeps things creepy. For example, here's one I found a couple of days ago that really impressed me.

"A girl was playing upstairs when she heard her mother call her from downstairs, so she ran off to see her mother. While running in the hallways, just before she could reach the stairs the girl was snatched by a hand that dragged her into the hallway closet. It was her mother. She said, "Don't go down there, I heard it too."
